At Island Farms, we take this notion even further to benefit the communities we live and work in sponsoring family events like the Island Farms Victoria Day parade. We are also honoured to support local non-profit groups to assist families in need through donation efforts such as the Milk for Kids program.

We’re doing what we can to return the support that our customers have shown us, in the hopes that we can make our community a better place to live.

Milk for Kids

It’s important to Island Farms that every child in our community grows up healthy, strong and well-nourished. That’s why we created our Milk for Kids program – providing fresh milk to families in need through local food banks. Begun in Victoria in 1999, the Milk for Kids program now provides more than 70,000 litres of milk each year to families throughout Vancouver Island.

Meet Daisy

Daisy is our lovable, huggable friend from one of our supplier farms on Vancouver Island.

Daisy was handpicked from thousands of our cows to help make Island Farms a part of your family fun. Fun events and healthy living are two of the things most important to Daisy. You will often find her spreading joy and having fun at parades, festivals and other family friendly events all over Vancouver Island. Daisy loves kids and so she is always available for a hug, a picture or a high five. Sometimes she even has small gifts and treats from the dairy to give away.

Look for her at the next Island Farms sponsored community event. She will be waiting for you!
