Easy Egg Nog Buttercream Frosting
Add this topping to your favourite festive cake or loaf (we suggest something spiced!), it’s perfect for entertaining and easy to keep on hand for special guests over the holiday season.
- 3 ounces Island Farms by Natrel cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Natrel unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 3 tablespoons Island Farms eggnog
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Place the cream cheese and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer.
- Mix until smooth.
- With the mixer on low, gradually add in the remaining ingredients until incorporated.
- Turn up the mixer to medium-high and mix until light and fluffy.
